Websites, search and AI visibility · Vienna, Austria

Ideas into websites, shown to the world!

I build the website, and I do the work that gets it seen: Google, Google Business, and the AI assistants people now ask instead of searching.

For trainers, consultants, personal-service businesses and other independent professionals in Vienna and across Europe.

Tangora is the studio of Rita Tang, based in Vienna, Austria. I build websites for small businesses and independent professionals in Austria and across Europe, and handle search visibility (SEO) and AI visibility (GEO) as part of the same work. Sites can be built in German, English or Chinese.

What I do

Two halves. The first is the website itself. The second is the work that decides whether anyone ever sees it.

Ideas into websites

The site itself

A site built around what you sell — not adapted from a template someone else is also using.

Before anything is designed, I ask what you do, who you do it for, and what you want a visitor to do next. The layout follows from that.

Included

  • Designed for your business
  • Works on phones, tablets and desktops
  • Built to load fastA slow page loses people before they read anything
  • Booking or enquiry form
  • Admin panelWith an illustrated guide, so you can edit text and photos yourself
  • Two rounds of revisions

Four pages and two languages are included. Extra pages and languages are priced below, not negotiated later.

Shown to the world

Being found

Two systems decide whether anyone sees your site: search engines, and the AI assistants people increasingly ask instead of searching.

Both of them read your site before any person does. Most sites are hard for them to read — prices sitting inside images, opening hours that only appear after a script runs, details that say one thing on the site and another on Google.

Included

  • Keyword workThe words your clients actually type, not the words you would use
  • Pages written for people and machines
  • Structured data (Schema.org)The facts about your business in a format machines read directly
  • Google Business ProfileSet up, and kept saying the same thing as your site
  • Reports on what search actually sends you

Search and AI are not two separate jobs. They read the same pages and reward the same things: clear structure, facts that match everywhere, and content that answers a real question.

What these numbers do not show

There is no before-and-after comparison for the traffic figures. The site had never been connected to Google Search Console, so nothing was recorded until February 2026. Every number above starts from the day measurement began — which is itself the point: most of the sites I am asked to look at have never been measured at all.

Still open

  • The homepage title still starts with “Homepage —”, which spends the most valuable characters in a search result on nothing.
  • Thousands of reviews sit on a booking platform, where they do not count towards Google.
  • The site still has no LocalBusiness structured data, so machines have to infer the opening hours, address and prices.

A case study that claims everything is finished is a case study nobody should believe.

Which shape fits

Three shapes, depending on what the site has to do

Most people know their business but not what kind of website it needs. These three cover almost everything I build. You will probably recognise yours in one sentence.

Solo practice or freelancer

One page

Everything on one scroll: what you do, who it is for, what it costs, and how to reach you. Fastest to build, least to maintain, and enough for most people starting out.

  • Single scroll
  • One clear action
  • Lowest cost

Several distinct services

A few pages

Each service gets its own page, so each one can be found on its own terms. A trainer running three different courses does not want all three competing for attention on the same page.

  • One page per service
  • Each findable separately
  • Room to grow

When the main action is booking

Booking-led

The site exists to get someone into your calendar. Background, prices and credentials are all there — arranged to support that one action rather than compete with it.

  • Booking above everything
  • Fewer clicks to a slot
  • Fewer phone calls

Not sure which one you are? That is part of the free check-up. I will tell you which shape your business needs and why — before you decide anything.

Ask for a check-up

Four steps, and only two of them need you

Most of what follows is my work, not yours. The two points where I need something from you are marked.

  1. Free check-up

Send me your web address. If there is no site yet, the name of your business, what you do and where you are is enough. Within two working days you get a written answer: whether people searching for your kind of work can find you, whether your Google profile has problems, and whether AI assistants can read you.

    FirstSend one email

  2. Proposal and price

One page: what gets built, how long it takes, what it costs. In writing, before anything starts. If it turns out not to be right for you, that is where it ends and nothing is charged.

  3. Build and launch

Two to four weeks once the material is in. Design, copy and the EU legal pages are mine to handle. Two rounds of revisions are included; further rounds are quoted separately.

SecondAnswer eight questions and pick a few photos

  4. Handover

You get the site, an illustrated guide and the admin login. If you want ongoing care or growth work, we can talk about it. If you do not — the site is yours either way. It always was.

Prices, in full

See the price first, then decide whether to talk. No “contact us for a quote”, no surprises after you sign.

Questions

The ones I actually get asked. If yours is not here, ask me — the answer is free too.

I know nothing about websites, design or tech. Can I still work with you?

Yes — that is who I usually work with.

You are an expert in what you do. You do not also need to become one in this. I ask about your business in plain language, and handle the rest.

Is €699 really one-time? Do I pay again next year?

Yes, one-time. The build is paid once and the site is yours.

The only thing that recurs is the domain and hosting. The first year is included in the €699. From the second year you either pay the registrar and host directly, or take the €119 “stay online only” plan and I take care of it.

Care and growth plans are optional. Nothing renews unless you choose it.

See what the plans include

Who owns the domain and the website?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, the site is yours, and you get the admin login at handover.

If you ever want to move to someone else, you take everything with you. Nothing is held on my account, and there is nothing to unlock.

Can you guarantee customers?

No, and neither can anyone else honestly.

What I can do is make sure that when someone searches for what you offer, there is something for a search engine and an AI assistant to find, read and trust. That is a precondition, not a promise.

What you can hold me to is the work itself, and to showing you the numbers: what you were shown for, what people clicked, what arrived through the site.

How are you different from a regular web designer or an SEO freelancer?

Most services stop at one end or the other: the site gets finished, or the rankings get worked on. Handing those to two people means neither owns the result.

I do both as one piece of work, and I measure it. You get one person who knows what was built, why it was built that way, and what the numbers did afterwards.

Living and working in Vienna

I studied information management and information systems, then spent ten years in marketing in China — offline campaigns first, then digital. Each move came from the same place: what actually decided the result always sat one layer below where I was working, so I went and learned that layer. Visual design, then digital, then how search engines and AI assistants read a page.

So the work does not get handed around here. A site has to work for the customer, for the person paying for it, and for the machines that decide whether you appear at all — and those are the three things I learned, in that order. From the first check-up to launch you deal with me.

The rules change every year, so I go to the primary sources rather than to whoever summarised them loudest. Where I make a claim on this site, I say where it comes from — you can check any of it.

Most of the sites I am asked to look at fail on the last part. Some cannot be opened over HTTPS. Some have never been connected to Google Search Console, so no one can say whether they work. The rebuild above started from exactly that list.

One job, in the end: that someone who needs what you do can find you — and that what they find is accurate.

tangora --start

You never hear fromthe people who could not find you

Four in ten people in Austria have used an AI assistant — above the EU average — and Google still answers most of the rest (around 82% in Austria). Some of them are looking for what you do. If your pages cannot be found, or cannot be read once they are, nothing happens: no call, no message, no way of knowing it happened at all.

Send me your web address. Within two working days you get a written answer telling you where you actually stand, and what is worth fixing first. If nothing needs fixing, I will say that too. Free, either way.
